I had an ever growing interest in design as I navigated my education and life. Through college, I decided to take some design courses, enjoyed it, and graduated with a BFA in Digital Design from CU Denver. I loved the psychology of how we interact with elements and visuals, whether physically or in digital spaces.
How a red button signifies that there is no turning back, how hierarchy guides the user through a poster and site, or when implementing a hamburger menu, it should be on either of the top corners of a screen. This interest started to expand when I realized that I can design for many, ensuring that something that I create or contribute to should be accessible and impactful.
I'm constantly learning, researching, breaking structures apart, improving, or starting fresh. During my time off, I'm tending to my orchids or watching horror films :).
